Each of the four instrument families bring something special to the music. Some carry the melody, others add color, rhythm, harmony, or power, but the real magic happens when everyone plays together. The orchestra is a team, and every musician and instrument has an important part to play. So, the next time you hear an orchestra perform, listen closely.
